Men’s Health Week & Exciting Announcement…
There is a Silent Health Crisis happening. Men are dying almost 5 years sooner than woman. In a study by the CDC, the rate of doctor visits for preventative services were 100% higher for women than for men. Men also have a higher death rate for most of the leading causes of death.
Today kicks off Men’s Health Week. It is a great reminder for all you guys out there, young and ‘mature’, to stop putting off the things you’ve been meaning to do in order to improve your health. Whether it’s scheduling that doctor’s appointment, getting to the gym, quit smoking or start making healthier eating choices; NOW is the time!
It’s also a GREAT time to share the latest, exciting news at Brookview! Our family is growing! We are thrilled to announce the newest member of the team, Dr. Kris Thoman! Dr. Kris will be in the office Tuesdays-Fridays beginning this week! You can learn more about Dr. Kris here.
