It’s National Blueberry Day! Blueberries are a wonderful naturally sweet treat that have been associated with a number of health benefits.

Blueberry Agua Fresca
Delicious, healthy and sweet fruit water made with blueberries, lemon juice, and honey.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 3 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 pint blueberries , rinsed
1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
mint leaves , for garnish

Instructions
Combine water and blueberries in a blender; blend until smooth.
Fill two glasses with ice.
Set a strainer over glasses and slowly pour the blueberry mixture into the strainer.
Stir in lemon juice and honey.
Taste for sweetness; adjust accordingly.
Garnish with mint leaves.
Serve.
